Sony launched its Premium mid-range android smartphone namely Xperia X (Dual Sim) in India which is priced at 26,990/-(Launch Price 48,990). DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY

The design of this phone is very good. It has 2.5D curved scratch resistant glass on front & Metal back surrounded by plastic frame which offers solid in hand feel thanks to curved glass and very slim Body. It is slim at 7.7mm and weighs 153gms. It has 5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display of resolution 1920 x 1280 with 441ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is very good. It runs on Xperia User Interface. The display supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is very good. The display has mobile Triluminous Display & X-Reality Engine which are very good.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES

It has 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 200GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like Walkman for songs, an Album to store all images and videos and a Movies for playing movies respectively which are very good. FM radio comes pre-installed. When it comes to multimedia experience from the device is very good overall thanks to large canvas video watching is very good adding to the experience is the audio quality both from loudspeaker is quite good and from headphone jack is quite very good too. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 300mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, Wifi a/b/g/n, Wifi direct, Wifi hotsopt, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC, Side Mounted Fingerprint Scanner (not in US), come standard.  

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES

It has a 23MP (1/2.3nch Exmor-RS sensor, F/2.0 Aperture) rear camera with Phase detection autofocus and LED flash which features Simultaneous image and video recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc and other modes as well. The camera clarity is quite Great overall. Daytime the images are great and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is pretty good. It does Full HD 1080p@60fps video recording with Steady shot video stabilization and stereo sound with HDR having bit-rate of 18mbps respectively and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is great too overall. Daytime the video clarity is great and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is pretty good. It also has a 13MP (1/3 inch Exmor-R sensor, F/2.0 Aperture) front camera with Autofocus for selfe's with 1080p video recording and clarity is quite great.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS

It runs on Android(OS) 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box which is Upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (MSM8956) 64-Bit SOC (System On Chip) running an Hexa-Core processor which is a combination of Dual-Core Processor clocked at 1.8GHZ (ARM Cortex-A72 Architecture) & Quad-Core Processor clocked at 1.4GHZ (ARM Cortex-A73 Architecture) with 3 GB RAM and an Adreno 510 GPU (650MHZ Single core). The performance is very good overall which provides high graphic intensive games pretty much fine without any major issues for most part, I was able to run asphalt 8, Nova 3 & Modern Combat 5 and the gaming performance was smooth didn't notice any lag or major frame drop from this you can also observe that other games like asphalt 8 etc to perform similarly and should be very much playable even on high graphic setting and also when it comes to heating I found the device gets warm not uncomfortably warm/hot which is pretty good. The general performance of the device was smooth didn't notice major lag from the UI (User Interface) which is very good in my opinion And Bast Part was the Ram management even when 90% of storage is used asphalt 8 did perform very well. The benchmark scores are above average for this price range which is given below.
