For now here is My Thoughts how IPhone 8, IPhone 8 Plus, IPhone X stack up.
When it comes to design the devices looks very good and the build quality seems to be Excellent as well with premium materials adding to the overall quality. The device's sport 4.7 Retina HD, 5.5 Full HD & 5.8 inch Quad HD (SAMOLED on IPhone X) LED Backlit IPS Display's with wide color & True tone display features. The clarity seams to be overall Excellent. It also supports 3D Touch display feature which is great. The X also features HDR10/Dolby Vison compliant which is great
Powering the device's is the Apple A11 Bionic chip running Hexa-Core processor's paired with Tri-Core Apple GPU completing the package with 3 GB RAM (2GB on IPhone 8) and built-in 64/256 GB storage options. The raw hardware seams to be very capable and reliable and we can expect the overall performance to be great and smooth from the device's.
Speaking about the camera device packs in Dual 12 MP (Regular + Telephoto with Wide angle lens) OIS (Optical Image Stabilization with 2X optical zoom) rear camera with Quad LED True Tone Flash and when it comes to video recording devices has support for upto 4K 2160p@60fps & upto Full HD1080p@240fps Slow-motion video recording and up front there is a 7MP FaceTime camera which supports upto Full HD 1080p@30fps & upto HD 720p@240fps Slow-Motion video recording. The camera has some very good set of upgrades especially Slow-Motion video recording at 1080P, interestingly a front camera too which does 720P Slow-Motion and clarity seams to be right there at par with flagships which is great.
On the software front the device runs IOS11 on top of Apple'Custom UI and runs the device very smoothly providing great experience. Also Provided is the Fingerprint Scanner (Touch ID) Built-into new home button along with Lightning connector (V2.0 on IPhone 8 others get V3.0) and adapter from lightning to headphone jack as once again there is no 3.5mm headphone jack. But the devices comes with IP67 Certified For Dust and Water Resistance which is very good.
When it comes to battery the device is powered by 1821 mah, 2675 mah and (unknown mah on IPhone X) battery and feature wireless charging. The battery life seams to be quite good for normal day to day's usage.
