Samsung launched its budget android smartphone namely Galaxy J2 Pro 2016 (Dual-Sim) which is priced @ 9,790/- sold via snapdeal. It is available is Black, Silver & Gold shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY

The design of this phone is pretty good. It has scratch resistant glass on front and plastic matte finish back and feels good in hands. It is slim at 8mm and weighs 138gms. It has 5 inch Super AMOLED display of resolution 720 x 1280 with 294ppi and also has display color profile option. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is very good. It runs on Touch Wiz User Interface. The display supports 5 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is very good too.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES

It has 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 128GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like music for songs, a gallery to store all images and videos and a movie player for playing movies respectively which are quite good. FM radio comes pre-installed. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 21.1mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, Wifi b/g/n, Wifi direct, Wifi hotsopt, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS & GLONASS are standard but also has USB OTG support. It also has Samsung's smart ultra data saving options and comes with smart glow feature which can be customized for various notifications which is very good. 

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES

It has a 8MP (CMOS sensor, F/2.2 Aperture) rear camera with autofocus and LED flash which features Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc and other modes as well. The camera clarity is Good overall. Daytime the images are good and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is quite nice. It does HD 720p@30fps video recording with stereo sound having bit-rate of 9mbps respectively and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is good overall. Daytime the video clarity is Good and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is above average could have been better. It also has a 5MP (CMOS sensor, F/2.2 Aperture) front camera for selfe's with 720p video recording and clarity is pretty good.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS

It runs Android (OS) 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. It has a Spreadtrum (SC9830A) SOC (System On Chip) running a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A7 Architecture) with 2 GB RAM and Mali-400 MP2 (400 Mhz Dual-Core) GPU. The performance is very good overall which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run pretty well and there is no major lag at most cases. It also has TST (Turbo Speed technology) which helps in better RAM management which is pretty good.
