MOTOROLA MOTO Z PLAY FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Motorola announced the mid-ranger the Moto Z Play at IFA 2016 Event here is My take on the first impressions.

Starting with design the device looks very good with and retains the Moto mod's back design, and the build quality seems to be very good as well adding to the overall quality. The device sports a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED Display and the clarity seems to be very good.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chip running Octa-Core processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU, completing the package with 4 GB RAM and built-in 32GB storage with support for Micro SD card. The Performance with this configuration is  mid-range and as expected the overall performance too seems to be pretty good from the device.

Speaking about the camera device packs in 16 MP rear camera with Dual LED (dual Tone) Flash with features including laser autofocus (faster accuracy autofocus) system, When it comes to video recording devices has support for 4K recording. Up front there is a 5MP camera with LED flash which is capable of recording full HD videos. The camera has pretty good considering the category but No OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) though and clarity seems to be very good overall.

On the software front the device runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on top of Moto's Stock android like UI which runs the device pretty smooth enough providing very good experience. Also Provided is the Fingerprint Scanner Built-into home button along with USB Type-C. It also has magnetic connector for connecting accessories such as battery pack speakers etc,(which Motorola calls it Moto mod's).

When it comes to battery the device is powered by 3510 mah battery and supports Motorola's Turbo charging.

Lastly expected to be priced around 31,900 (480$ USD) with September/October Release*.
