Samsung launched its upper midrange android tablet in India namely Galaxy Tab A 8.0 which is priced at 19,500. It is available is Black & White shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design of this phone is quite good. It has corning glass 3 on front and texture finish plastic back and feels quite good in hands. It is slim at 7.4mm and weighs 315gms. It has 8 inch XGA (4:3) LCD display of resolution 768 X 1024 with 160 ppi. The viewing angles are pretty good and sunlight legibility of the display is pretty good. It runs on Touch Wiz User Interface. The display supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is pretty good.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 256GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like music for songs, a gallery to store all images and videos and a movie player for playing movies respectively which are quite good. FM radio comes pre-installed. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, Wifi a/b/g/n, Wifi dual-band, Wifi direct, Wifi hotsopt, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS & GLONASS come standard but also has USB OTG support. It also has voice calling feature.

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 5MP rear camera with autofocus which features Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc. The camera clarity is Pretty good overall. Daytime the images are Pretty good and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is descent due to lack of led flash. It does HD 720p@30fps video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound but lacks HDR having bit-rate of 17mbps and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is Pretty overall. Daytime the video clarity is Pretty good and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is average due to lack of led flash. It also has a 2MP front camera for selfe's with 480p video recording and clarity is above descent.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS
It runs Android (OS) 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) 64-Bit SOC running a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.2 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A53 Architecture) with 2 GB RAM and Adreno 306 (400 MHZ Single-Core) GPU. The performance is quite very good which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run quite well and there is no major lag at most cases.
