LeEco (LETV) launched its flagship android smartphone namely Le Max (Dual Sim) in India which is priced @ 32,999/- (64GB Variant) & 32,999/- (128GB Variant) sold via flipkart. It is available in Silver & Gold shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY

The design of this phone is very good. It has corning glass 3 on front and a metal unibody which feels great in hands. It is slim at 8.9mm and weighs 204gms. It has 6.33 inch Quad HD IPS LCD display of resolution 2560 x 1440 with 464ppi. The viewing angles are very good and sunlight legibility of the display is very good too. It runs on E User Interface. The display supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is very good.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES

It has 64GB/128GB of internal storage which is not further expandable. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like Music for songs, an Gallery to store all images and a Video player for playing movies respectively which are very good. FM radio comes pre-installed. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, Wifi a/b/g/n, Wifi dual-band, Wifi direct, Wifi hotsopt, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS & GLONASS come standard but also has IR Blaster & USB C-type port. It also has Fingerprint Scanner and gyroscope sensor support.

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES

It has a 21MP Optically stabilised rear camera with autofocus and Dual tone LED flash which features Simultaneous HD video and image recording, Geo-tagging, Image stabilization, Sweep panorama, HDR etc. The camera clarity is very good. Daytime the images are very good and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is average. It does 4K 2160p@30fps, Full HD 1080p@30fps HDR video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound having bitrate of 49mbps & 18Mbps & stores in MP4 files. The video recording clarity is very good. Daytime the video clarity is very good and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is average. It has a 4 MP Ultrapixel Front camera with autofocus which does Full HD 1080p@30fps and clarity is very good. 

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS

It runs Android (OS) 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box. It has a Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) 64-Bit SOC (System On Chip) running an Octa-Core processor which is combination of Quad-Core clocked at 2 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A57 Architecture) & Quad-Core clocked at 1.5GHZ (ARM Cortex-A53 Architecture) with 4GB RAM and Adreno 430 (600MHZ at Single-Core) GPU. The performance is Excellent which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run very well and there is no lag at all.
