APPLE IPHONE 6 PLUS REVIEW

Apple launched its flagship smartphone namely IPhone 6 plus in India which is priced @ 60,990/-. It is available in Black, White & Gold shades.

DESIGN, DURABLITY & DISPLAY

The design of this phone is pretty good. It uses scratch resistant shatter proof glass with fingerprint resistant coating on the front and a brush alluminum unibody finish on the back. It is slim at 7.1mm and weighs 172gms. It has a 5.5inch FULL HD 16M colour LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 1920 x 1080 resolution with 401ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is Excellent. The screen supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is great. It also has fingerprint sensor (Touch ID) & Apple pay (VISA, Master Card, AMEX certified) which are very good.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITES
It has a 16GB/64GB/128GB internal storage and is not further expandable. The device features dedicated multimedia apps such as I-music, I-movies, as wells as default gallery provides storing of music, videos, and images respectively. On-board connectivity's such as 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, Wifi , Bluetooth 4.0 (file sharing from apple to apple only) and USB 2.0 come standard. But also has NFC (Apple Pay Only).

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES

It has an 8MP Optically stabilised Rear camera 1/3inch sensor with phase detection autofocus & dual Led (true tone) flash which features Simultaneous HD video and image recording, Geo-tagging, sweep panorama, Face & Smile detection, HDR etc. The camera clarity is Excellent overall. Daytime the images are Excellent and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is quite good. It does FULL HD 1080p@60fps HDR & 720P@240fps video recording with video stabilization and mono sound having bit-rate of 29 Mbps in MP4 format. The video recording clarity is Excellent overall. Daytime the video clarity is Excellent and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is quite good. It has a 1.2 MP Front camera which does HD 720p@30fps HDR video recording. The clarity is very good.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE & PERFORMANCE

It runs IOS 8 out of the box it is upgradable to IOS 8.1.3. It has an Apple A8 processer (Cyclone based ARM V8) running a dual core at 1.3 GHZ with 1GB RAM and PowerVR GX 6450MP4( quad-core graphics). The performance is great which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag at all.

BATTERY LIFE PERFORMANCE

It has a non-removable Li-Pro 2915 MAH battery. The battery life is Very good which is given below.

*Pricy & lack of 32GB makes for an option for 64GB which is highly priced 32GB should have been standard instead of 16GB.
