Sony launched its mini smartphone with no compromise specifications in India namely Xperia Z1 compact which is priced @ 36990. It is available in Black, White, Lime and Pink shades.
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The desigh is very good and feels premium. It has a scratch resistant and shatter proof durable tempered glass on front and an alluminium frame structure with glass finish polycarbonate back. It is slim at 9.5mm and weighs 137gms. It is also IP58 certified meaning dust proof and water resistant for 5 feet and 30 minutes. It has a 4.3 inch 16M HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which features Triluminous display & X-Reality engine with 342ppi. It has Opti-contrast panel. viewing angles and sunlight legibility are pretty good. It uses latest Timescape User Interface.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITYS
It has a 16 GB internal storage and is expandable upto 64 GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps which are very good. It has clear audio technologies and X-loud sound enhancements. On-board connectivitie's such as 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & GLONASS, NFC and USB & USB OTG support are standard. It also includes Sony’s unique one touch functions that takes place with help of NFC. But lacks IR(Infrared) Port.
