LG launched another flagship android smartphone namely Nexus 5 in India which is priced @ 29,990/- (16GB) and 32490/-(32GB). It is available is Black and White shades.
1 DESIGN & DURABILITY
The design is simple n neat. It has a corning gorilla glass 3 on both front and high quality matte rubber finish on back which provide good looks as well as making it durable. It is slim at 8.6mm n weighs 130gms.
2 DISPLAY
It has a 4.9 inch 16M True HD IPS plus capacitive touchscreen of Full HD 1920x1080 resolution with 445ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility is Great.
3 STORAGE & MULTIMEDIA
The device comes with a 16 GB/32 GB internal storage options and is not further expandable. The device features dedicated multimedia apps which are good.
4 CONNECTIVITIES
On-board connectvities such as 2G, 3G, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & GLONASS support, NFC and USB are standard.
5 CAMERA AND VIDEO
It has a 8 MP Rear camera with autofocus & led flash which features OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), Photo sphere, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection etc. The camera clarity is very good. It does FULL HD 1080p@30fps video recording lacking HDR with video stabilization and stereo sound having bite-rate of 15-17 Mbps bitrate and stores in MP4 format. The video recording clarity is good. It has a 1.3 MP Front camera which does HD 720p@30fps video recoding.
6 SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS
It runs on Android(OS) 4.4 Kitkat out of the box and is upgradable to 4.4.2 Kitkat. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S800 (MSM8974) processor running a quad core at 2.3 GHZ with 2 GB RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU. The performance is Excellent which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag at all.
