APPLE IPHONE 5S REVIEW

      

Apple launched its new iPhone namely IPhone 5S in India which is priced @ 55990/-. It is available in black and white and gold shades. 

    

1 DESIGN & DURABLITY

Apple IPhone 5 comes with same design as previous one with small changes. It uses corning gorilla glass with fingerprint resistant coating on the front and an aluminium finish on the back and sides making it durable. It is slim at 7.6mm and weighs 112gms.

2 DISPLAY

It has a 4 inch 16M colour LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 640 x 1136 resolution with 327ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is very good.

3 STORAGE & MULTIMEDIA

It has a 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage and is not further expandable. The device features dedicated multimedia apps which are good.

4 CONNECTIVITES

On-board connectivity's such as 2G, 3G, 4G, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0 (file sharing from apple to apple only) and USB 2.0 come standard but lacks NFC.

5 CAMERA & VIDEO 

It has an 8 MP (1/3 inch sensor size) Rear camera with dual LED (True Tone) flash which features Simultaneous HD video and image recording, sweep panorama, touch focus, image stabilization ,HDR etc.. Camera clarity is great. It does FULL HD 1080p@30fps & 720p@120fps video recording with video stabilization and mono sound but lacks HDR having bit-rate of 16-18 Mbps in MP4 format. Video recording clarity is great. It has a 1.2 MP Front camera which does HD 720p@30fps video recording.

6 HARDWARE, SOFTWARE & PERFORMANCE

It runs IOS 7 and is upgradable to 7.0.4. It has an Apple A7 processer (Cyclone based ARM V8 with 64 Bit architecture) running a dual core at 1.3 GHZ with 1GB RAM and Power VR G6430 (quad-core graphics). The performance is great which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag at all.

7 BATTERY LIFE

It has a non-removable Li-Pro 1560 MAH battery. The battery life is good which is given below.

VIDEO WATCHING : upto 10:40H.

TALKTIME : upto 10:20H (2G) / upto 10:50H (3G).

STANDBY TIME : upto 250H (2G) / upto 250H (3G).
