Samsung launched its successor of the budget android smartphone namely Galaxy star Pro in India which is priced @ 6,799/-(single sim) & 7,299/-(dual sim). It is available is Black, White and blue shades.
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design is basic but could have been bit better. It has a scratch resistant glass on front and a plastic matte finish on the back and feels qiuite good in hands. It is slim at 10.6mm and weighs 121gms. It has a 4 inch 16M WVGA LCD capacitive touchscreen of resolution 480X800 with 233ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility is qutite good. It runs on Touch Wiz User Interface. The display supports 4 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is quite good.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
The device comes with a 4GB internal storage and is further expandable upto 32GB The device features dedicated multimedia apps like music for songs, a gallery to store all images and videos and a movie player for playing movies respectively which are quite good. FM radio comes pre-installed. On-board connectvities such as 2G, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0 are standard. But lacks 3G and GPS.

The video recording clarity is average. Daytime as well as night time video clarity are not that good and there the low frame rate makes it even worse. It doesn't have a Front camera.
