HTC DESIRE 600 REVIEW



HTC launched a dual sim higher mid-range android smartphone namely HTC Desire 600 in India which is priced @ 26990/-. It is available in Black and White shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY

The design of this phone very good compared to previous devices. It uses corning gorilla glass 2 front and an aluminium body on the back making it durable. It is slim at 9.3mm and weighs 130gms. The display is a 4.5 inch 16M QHD Super LCD-2 capacitive touchscreen with 245ppi. The viewing angles and the sunlight legibility of this display is very good. It uses HTC's Sense 5.0 User Interface.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES

It has a 8GB internal storage options and is further expandable upto 64GB. The device features its on dedicated multimedia apps which are very good. It has a beats audio sound enhancement and HTC's Boom Sound integrated with front stereo speakers. On-board connectivity's such as 2G, 3G, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & GLONASS, NFC(market dependent) and USB are standard.

CAMERA AND VIDEO

It has a 8 MP Rear Camera with autofocus & LED which features Simultaneous HD video and image recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Face detection etc. The camera clarity is very good. It does FULL HD 720p@24fps  video recording with video stabilization & stereo sound having bit-rate 9-11 Mbps in MP4 format. The video recording clarity is very good. It has a 1.6 MP Front camera which does HD 720p@30fps video recording.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS

It runs Android(OS) 4.1.2 jelly bean out of the box. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8625Q) processor running a quad core at 1.2 GHZ with 1 GB RAM and an Adreno 203 GPU. The performance is pretty good which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag in at all.
