The design is getting simple day by day. It has a corning gorilla glass on front and a plastic soft touch finish on the back making it durable. It is slim at 8.9mm and weighs 107gms. It has a 4.3 inch 16M AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of 540X960 (QHD) resolution with 256ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility is good. It has Samsung's TouchWiz User Interface.

The device comes with a 8GB internal storage and is further expandable upto 64GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps which are great. On-board connectives such as 2G, 3G, 4G, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (GT-I9195 only), GPS & GLONASS and USB are standard. It also has an IR (Infrared) port.
