LG OPTIMUS L3 II REVIEW

LG launched low-end android smartphone namely LG optimus L3 II in India which is priced @ 7,990/-(single sim) & 8,590/-(dual sim). It is available is Black and White shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY

The new rectangular design of LG is quite good. It has a scratch resistant glass on front and a plastic matte finish on the back making it quite durable. It is slim at 11.9mm and weighs 107gms. It has a 3.2inch 262K IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of 240X320 (QVGA) resolution with 125ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility is descent.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES

The device comes with a 4GB internal storage and is further expandable upto 32GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps which are good. On-board connectvities such as 2G, 3G, WIFI, Bluetooth 3.0 HS, GPS and USB are standard.

CAMERA AND VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES

It has a 3.2 MP Rear camera with fixed focus which features Geo-tagging, touch focus etc. The camera clarity is average. It does VGA@30fps video recording and stores in MP4 format. The video recording clarity is average. It doesn't have a Front camera.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS

It runs on Android (OS) 4.1.2 jelly bean out of the box . It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1(MSM7225A) processor running a single core at 1 GHZ with 512 MB RAM and an Adreno 200 GPU. The performance is descent which provides good number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run well enough and there is a bit of lag occasionally.

BATTERY LIFE PERFORMANCE

It has a removable Li-pro 1540 MAH Battery. The battery life is good which is given below.
