HTC ONE REVIEW

HTC launched another android flagship smartphone namely HTC one in India which is priced @ 42990/-. It is available in Black and Silver shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY

The design of this phone very good compared to previous devices. It uses corning gorilla glass 2 front and an aluminium body on the back making it durable. It is slim at 9.3mm and weighs 143gms. The display is a 4.7 inch 16M FULL HD Super LCD-3 capacitive touchscreen with 469ppi. The viewing angles and the sunlight legibility of this display is very good. It uses HTC's Sense 5.0 User Interface.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES

It has a 32GB/64GB internal storage options and is not further expandable. The device features its on dedicated multimedia apps which are very good. It has a beats audio sound enhancement and HTC's Boom Sound integrated with front stereo speakers. On-board connectivity's such as 2G, 3G, 4G(LTE), WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & GLONASS, NFC and USB are standard and also has an IR (Infrared) port.

CAMERA AND VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES 

It has a 4 MP Ultra pixel Rear Camera with autofocus & led which features Simultaneous HD video and image recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Face detection, Optical image stabilization (OIS) etc. The camera clarity is pretty good. It does FULL HD 1080p@30fps HDR video recording with video stabilization & stereo sound having bit-rate 17-19 Mbps in MP4 format. The video recording clarity is great. It has a 2.1 MP Front camera which does FULL HD 1080p@30fps HDR video recording.

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS

It runs Android(OS) 4.1.2 jelly bean out of the box with a planned upgrade to 4.2 jelly bean. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 (APQ8064T) processor running a quad core at 1.7 GHZ with 2 GB RAM and an Adreno 320 GPU. The performance is very good which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag in at all.

BATTERY LIFE PERFORMANCE

It has a non-removable Li-Pro 2300 MAH Battery. The battery life is pretty good which is given below.
