Sony introduces a new language of design which look simple but more premium. The signature power lock key adds to its extra looks. It is made of durable tempered glass front (corning gorrila glass 2) and is protected by an anti-shatter film on the front and matte finish high quality plastic back making it durable. It is slim at 9.8mm and weighs 152gms. It has a 5 inch 16M FULL HD TFT capacitive touchscreen with 443ppi making it best in class display. It has Opti-contrast panel (reduces glare and reflection giving more contrast at high brightness) and mobile Bravia engine 2 packed in to give u razor sharp movie watching and gaming experience viewing angles aren't that great but just decent. It uses latest Timescape User Interface.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has a 16 GB internal storage and is expandable upto 64 GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps which are very good. It has clear audio technologies and X-loud sound enhancements. On-board connectivitie's such as 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & GLONASS, NFC and USB are standard and also has an IR (Infrared) port. It also includes Sony’s unique one touch functions that takes place with help of NFC.

It has a 13.1 MP Exmor RS Rear camera with led flash which features Superior auto mode(optimises right settings at right time),Simultaneous HD video and image recording, Burst mode, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Face detection, Image stabilization, Sweep panorama, HDR etc. The camera clarity is very good. It does FULL HD 1080p@30fps HDR (first smartphone to feature HDR for video in the world) video recording with video stabilization & stereo sound having bit-rate of 17-19 Mbps in MP4 files. The video recording clarity is very good. It has a 2.2 MP Exmor R Front camera which does HDR stills and FULL HD 1080p@30fps video recording.

It runs on Android(OS) 4.1.2 jelly bean out of the box with a planned upgrade to 4.2.2 jelly bean. The performance is very good which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag at all.
