Sony launched its first quad core smartphone in India which is priced @ 38990. It is available in Black, White and Purple shades.
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
Sony introduces a new language of design which look simple but more premium. The signature power lock key adds to its extra looks. In addition to this they call it Omni balance design (which when held on hand at any angle the weight is managed in all directions) and seamless reflective surfaces which adds to its premium feel. It is made of durable tempered glass (Dragontrail glass front and corning gorilla glass back) both protected by an anti-shatter film and the skeletal frame made of polycarbonate fibre rapping around the phone making it more durable .It also has highest level of dust and water resistant thanks to IP55 & IP57 rating upto 1 meter(3 feet) and for 30 minutes. It is slim at 7.9mm and weighs 146gms. It has a 5 inch 16M FULL HD LCD capacitive touchscreen with 443ppi making it best in class display. It has Opti-contrast
panel(reduces glare and reflection giving more contrast at high brightness) and
mobile Bravia engine 2 packed in to give u razor sharp movie watching and
gaming experience viewing angles aren't that great but just decent. It uses latest Timescape User Interface.
