Xiaomi launched its budget android smartphone namely Redmi Note 3 in India which is priced at 9,999 for 16GB variant and 11,999 for 32GB variant sold via Amazon. It is available is Silver, Gold & Grey shades.
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design of this phone is pretty nice. It has Scratch resistant glass on front and metallic unibody and feels very good in hands. It is slim at 8.7mm and weighs 164gms. It has 5.5 inch Full HD IPS LCD display of resolution 1920 x 1280 with 403ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is great. It runs on MI 7.0 User Interface. The display supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is great.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has 16GB/32GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 128GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like music for songs, a gallery to store all images and videos and a video player for playing movies respectively which are very good. FM radio comes pre-installed. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 21.1mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, Wifi a/b/g/n/ac, Wifi direct, Dual band Wifi, Wifi hotsopt, GPS & GLONASS, USB OTG and Bluetooth 4.1 LE (Low Energy) come standard but also had IR Blaster. It also has Fingerprint scanner & Gyroscope sensor support and lacks NFC.
CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 16MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus and Dual Led (dual tone) flash which features Simultaneous image and video recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc. The camera clarity is great overall. Daytime the images are very good and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is just good and could have been better. It does Full HD 1080p@30fps video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound having bit-rate of 17-18mbps and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is great overall. Daytime the video clarity is very good and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is just good could have been bit better. It also has a 5MP front camera for selfe's with 1080p video recording and clarity is pretty good.

It runs Android (OS) 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 (MSM8956) SOC (System On Chip) running an Hexa-Core processor which is a combination of Dual-Core processor clocked at 1.8 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A72 Architecture) and a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.4 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A53 Architecture) with 2GB (16GB storage variant) / 3GB (32GB storage variant) RAM and Adreno 510 (600MHZ Single-Core) GPU. The performance is Excellent which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run very well and there is no lag at all.
