HTC launched mid-range android smartphone namely Desire 628 (Dual-Sim) in India which is priced at 13,990. It is available is Cobalt White and Sunset blue shades.

DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design of this phone is Great. It has a Scratch resistant glass on front and a plastic back and feels very good in hands. It is slim at 8.2mm and weighs 142gms. It has a 5 inch HD Super LCD display of resolution 720 x 1280 with 294 ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is pretty good. It runs on HTC's Sense 7.0 User Interface. The display supports 5 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is pretty good. It also has display color personalization option.

STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 2TB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps such as Zoe camera app stores all your images and has built video player as well as music player which stores and plays respectively which are very good. FM radio comes pre-installed too. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps download & 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & 50mbps upload, Wifi b/g/n, Wifi hotsopt, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0 and GPS & GLONASS come standard but lacks NFC supports. It has HTC Boom sound profile for headset which is very good.

CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 13MP (F/2.0 Aperture, 28mm field of view) Optically stabilised rear camera with laser autofocus and LED (Dual Tone) flash which features Simultaneous image and video recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc. The camera clarity is very good overall. Daytime the images are very good and has fine details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become more visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images and clarity is quite good. It does Full HD 1080p@30fps HDR, 720p@120fps video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound having bit-rate of 17 mbps for full HD and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is very good overall. Daytime the video clarity is Very good and has fine details respectively but at night video clarity is acceptable could have been better. It also has a 5MP (F/2.4 Aperture, 23mm field of view) optically stabalised front camera with autofocus for selfe's which does 1080p@30fps video with HDR and clarity is very good. 

SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PERFORMANCE & BENCHMARKS
It runs Android (OS) 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has a MediaTek (MT6753) 64-Bit SOC (System On Chip) running a Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.3 Ghz with 3GB RAM and MaliT-720 MP2(700 Mhz Dual-Core) GPU. The performance is very good overall which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run quite well and there is no major lag at most cases.
