Huawei launched its budget mid-range android smartphone namely Honor 5C (Hybrid Dual-Sim) in India which is priced at 10,999/- sold via Flipkart. It is available in Grey, Gold and White shades.
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design of this phone is very good. It has a corning gorilla glass 3 on front and metal back and feels great in hands. It is slim at 8.3mm and weighs 156gms. It has 5.2 inch Full HD IPS LCD display of resolution 1920 x 1280 with 424 ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is Quite very good. It runs on Emlotion 4.1 User Interface. The display supports 5 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is very good.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable upto 128GB. The device features dedicated multimedia apps such as camera app stores all your images and has built video player as well as music player which stores and plays respectively which are very good. FM radio comes pre-installed too. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps download & 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & 50mbps upload, Wifi b/g/n, Wifi Direct, Wifi hotsopt, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.1 A2DP & LE and GPS & GLONASS support come standard. It also has fingerprint scanner along with gestures support but lacks USB OTG support.
CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 13MP (F/2.0 aperture) rear camera with autofocus and LED flash which features Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc. The camera clarity is Great overall. Daytime the images are quite Great and has fine details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become more visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images and clarity is quite good. It does Full HD 1080p@30fps HDR video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound having bit-rate of 16 mbps and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is Great overall. Daytime the video clarity is quite great and has fine details respectively but at night video clarity is acceptable could have been better. It also has a 8MP (F/2.0 aperture) front camera for selfe's which does 720p video and clarity is very good.

It runs Android (OS) 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It has a HiSilicon Kirin (650) 64-Bit SOC (System On Chip) running an Octa-Core processor which is a combination of a Quad-Core processor clocked at 2 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A53 Architecture) and a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.7 GHZ (ARM Cortex-A53 Architecture) with 2GB RAM and Mali-T830 MP2 (600 Mhz Dual-Core) GPU. The performance is great overall which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run pretty well and there is no major lag at most cases. Its also the first phone to be built on flagship grade 16nm FinFET+ SOC fabrication which helps in better performance, efficiency and lower heat generation from the chipset.
