LG launched its latest flagship android smartphone namely G5 in India which is priced at 52,990. It is available is Titian, Silver and Gold shades.
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The design of this phone is good. It has corning glass 4 on front and a metal back and feels good in hands. It is slim at 7.7mm and weighs 159gms. It has 5.3 inch Quad HD IPS display of resolution 1440 X 2560 with 554ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility of the display is great. It runs on LG Optimus UX 5.0 User Interface. The display supports 10 multi-touch points and the brightness of the screen is great. It also has always on display.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITIES
It has 32GB of internal storage which is not further expandable. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like google play music for songs and a stock gallery and a video player which are good. FM radio comes pre-installed too. Connectivities like 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps download & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G speeds upto 150mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, Wifi a/b/g/n/ac, Wifi Dual Band, Wifi hotsopt, USB V3.0 (USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector), USB OTG as well as Bluetooth 4.2 LE (Low Energy). But has NFC & lacks IR blaster. It also has Fingerprint scanner and also supports gyroscope, barometer & color spectrum sensors.
CAMERA & VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 16MP (F/1.8) + 8MP (F/2.4) Optically stabilized (3-axis OIS) rear camera with laser autofocus and Dual Led (Dual tone) flash which features Simultaneous image and video recording, Geo-tagging, Touch focus, Image stabilization, HDR etc. The camera clarity is Excellent overall. Daytime the images are Excellent and has fine details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become more visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is quite nice could have been bit better. It does 4K 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps HDR, & 720p@120fps video recording with video stabilization and stereo sound having bit-rate of 49mbps for 4K & 17mbps for Full HD respectively and stores in mp4 format. The video recording clarity is Excellent overall. Daytime the video clarity is Excellent and has fine details respectively but at night video clarity is pretty nice could have been bit better. It also has a 8MP (f/2.0) front camera for selfe's which does 1080p video recording and clarity is quite good.

It runs Android (OS) 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (MSM8996) 64-Bit SOC (System On Chip) running a Quad-Core processor which is a combination of a Dual-Core processor clocked at 2.15 GHZ (Kryo Architecture) & a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.6 GHZ (Kryo Architecture) with 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 (600MHZ single core) GPU. The performance is Excellent which provides number of graphic intensive games and multitasking run very well and there is no lag at all.
