Oneplus launched its first flagship smartphone in India namely Oneplus One which is priced @ 21,990 (64GB) & 18,990 (16GB) sold via invite based system on amazon. It is available in Sandstone Grey shade (64GB version), Silk White shade (16GB version).
DESIGN, BUILD QUALITY & DISPLAY
The desigh is very good. It has a corning gorilla glass 3 front and textured polycarbonate unibody back which feels good in hands. It is slim at 8.9mm and weighs 162gms. It has a 5.5 inch 16M FULL HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen of resoultion 1920 X 1080 with 401ppi. The viewing angles and sunlight legibility are Great. The display supports 10 point Multi-Touch. It runs on Custom UI.
STORAGE, MULTIMEDIA & CONNECTIVITYS
It has a 64GB internal storage and is not further expandable. The device features dedicated multimedia apps like google music for music, gallery for images & video player for videos which are pretty good. On-board connectivity's such as 2G, 3G speeds upto 42.2mbps & upto 5.76mbps upload, 4G Speeds upto 150mbps download & upto 50mbps upload, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS & GLONASS support are standard. It also has NFC & USB OTG but lacks IR(Infrared) Port.
CAMERA AND VIDEO RECORDING CAPABILITIES
It has a 13 MP Rear camera with autofocus & LED flash which features Simultaneous HD video and image recording, Geo-tagging, Image stabilization, Sweep panorama, HDR etc. The camera clarity is Excellent.Daytime the images are Excellent and has good amount of details respectively but in the night is where the noise starts to become bit visible visible and to get better details at night HDR mode images with bit of steady hands helps to produce slightly better images still image quality at night is quite good. It does 4K Ultra HD 2160p@30fps, FULL HD 1080p@60fps as well as 30fps & 720p@120fps with HDR for full hd video recording with video stabilizatio and stereo sound having bitrate of 48Mbps for 4K, 28Mbps for full hd in 60fps & 17Mbps in 30fps & stores in MP4 files. The video recording clarity is Excellent. Daytime the video clarity is Excellent and has good amount of details respectively but at night video clarity is quite good. It runs on Cyanogen 11(OS) 4.4.2 Kitkat of the box with a planned upgrade to 5.0 Lollipop. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor running a quad core at 2.5 GHZ with 3 GB RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU (550MHZ Single core). The performance is Top class which provides high graphic intensive games and multitasking run smoothly and there is no lag at all.
